Barcino is the Roman name for the current city of Barcelona. The Roman colony of Barcino was founded in the 1st century BC as Julia Augusta in honor to Emperor Augustus.
Its location was determined by the access to natural resources such as the Gavá mining area, the proximity to the Llobregat and Besos rivers, and the sea.
We have represented it between the 3rd and 4th centuries, because it is better known and it shows elements whose remains are still preserved.
This starting publication is a personal work done during the course Recreation in 3D of historical cities with Blender, given by the company Koré Formación, and it has been based mostly on the Barcino 3D app published by the Barcelona council, but it includes hypotheses such as the amphitheater that do not have rigorous studies.
